Heidi performes

“It was devastating. I’ll never forget the phone call,” says Heidi about finding out that her son Gannon had been diagnosed with autism. That was over 6 years ago. Since then Heidi has become a leading national advocate for autism awareness and the biomedical approach to treatment. Much more than her platform, it is her passion and way of life.

“I’m sharing my story with parents so that they can realize that their seamingly hopeless situation can be turned around and that there actually is light at the end of the tunnel."

Gannon, who often accompanies her to — and even speaks
at conferences — has become living proof that autism is treatable. He likes to share about his "Thumbs Up, Gannon APPROVED" food.

Heidi is clear on where her heart is: “My support of autism, however, goes far beyond events. My support of autism is a choice, a calling. One that I follow out of love for my son and for other parents’ sons and daughters.”
